Charlotte Aeb is a Swiss-based photographer and visual artist who has
developed a practice combining photography, installation, and experimentation to explore the fragile boundary between reality and fiction. Her work focuses on metamorphosis, perception, strangeness, and the deliberate suspension of disbelief.
A graduate of CEPV, she initially worked in architectural and design photography. Her work has since developed around personal themes and experimental projects, including PORNFOOD (2018) and La Synthèse, a short film presented at LUFF and Uplink Tokyo. In 2019, she received the Prix de la Journée des Arts de Nyon.
Since then, she has participated in numerous residencies and exhibitions in Switzerland and internationally, including the Musée Jenisch (Vevey), Art Now (Carouge), Fondation WRP (Geneva), Galerie 3000 (Bern), 王老先生有塊地單車酒 (Taipei), DémArt and Strates (Lausanne), as well as the Tree House (Hanoi).
In 2025, she completed a residency at Acentricspace (Shanghai), where she developed and presented her project Melting Sun. The same year, she held a solo exhibition at Artsight Gallery (Stockholm). She was also among the winners of the Vintage Photofestival organized by the Fotografiska Foundation and has presented her work in Poland. Additionally, she has been invited to participate in the OFF Festival in Bratislava.
Alongside her solo work, she is actively involved in several collectives (Strates, Pool Collective, aperti, MAF), emphasizing a practice where collaborative creation and artistic dialogue play a central role
